Hello, my name is Derek Tuxhorn and I am a 22 year old, 5th year senior at York College. I have spent my time here pursuing
a K-12 Physical Education degree with a coaching endorsement and played baseball for four years. I was born in York,
Nebraska on Easter Sunday in 1985 and have lived in this area my whole life. I attended McCool Junction Public Schools
from Kindergarten through graduation, as it is a K-12 school building. I am the youngest of three siblings: brother
Joel-31, sister Christi-26.

My Hobbies
being around sports any chance possible, watching stand up comedies, some video games, golf, hunting, kicking back with
friends, spending time with family, enjoying a day at the lake
Future Plans
I will be Student Teaching for a semester in the Spring of 2008 and will graduate in May. I am going
to New Mexico for next summer to work on a golf course that my former boss from the York Country Club is currently constructing.
I would either like to stay and work at that course or find a high school teaching/coaching job in that area. Below are
